"secret furry hole is one of the reasons that his clancyness exists, years back i was unsure of what direction to take, i had a bunch of songs in my hands and that first cassette release was like a commitment to record and keep going. i'm really happy that they are a part of this re-release of always mist. nothing has been touched on these songs, just better mastering. it's a good feeling to finally have these babies properly out.

pulsating like a tiger, a new beast is born. young bologna-based band buzz aldrin has been making an elegant racket for the past 12 months. the group's songs are driven by hypnotic drum beats, a psych-pop touch and a post-punk attitude. their debut cassette on secret furry hole showcases a phenomenal background based on 40 years of underground rock'n'roll lessons.
drugged landscapes collide with swirling backdrops of guitars and sheer noise that usually sit on a bed of kraut influenced rhythms, vocals left filtering through from a distant industrial regime. think suicide escaping the daily malaise of 2k9. on this release buzz aldrin fittingly pays homage to the great silver apples with their cover of "you and i".
